Last week at the 2015 SHOT Show®, Elzetta Design introduced two more additions to their lineup of American Made products. The Mini-CQB is a compact weapon light system produced in conjunction with Impact Weapon Components and can be used with Mil-Standard 1913 Picatinny, KeyMod, or M-LOK rails. This cross platform compatibility is accomplished through the use of two adaptable base plates which will be available as part of a complete weapon light kit or separately.
Built upon the design of the Elzetta Alpha Modular Flashlight (see review), the new Mini-CQB is rated to provide up to 315 lumens of output and may be equipped with either a standard or flood lens. Staying true to Elzetta’s modular design philosophy, the Mini-CQB will also be able to use the same range of tailcap and bezel options as the Alpha. Switch options include the standard rotary, click, High/Low and High/Strobe tailcaps as well as 5″ or 12″ remote tape switches.
The Mini-CQB is available now for pre-order on the Elzetta website and will begin shipping in April with purchases fulfilled in the order they are received. Pricing will vary according to which options are chosen starting at $210 for a complete Picatinny setup with rotary tailcap.
Elzetta’s second announcement relates to their first non-tactical product, a flashlight mount for compound bows.
Suitable for hunting or bowfishing, the anodized aluminum hardware permits any of the Elzetta Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie tactical flashlights to be rigidly secured above or below the mount. The bow mount will be available later in the second quarter of 2015.
See Elzetta’s Dave Barnett provide an overview of these latest offerings (apologies for the loud crowd noise).
