New SureFire Titan-A

Just a few months after debuting their largest LED flashlight, the UDR Dominator, SureFire is ready to make waves again with the introduction of their smallest, the Titan-A. Designed as an ultra-compact keychain light, the upcoming Titan-A is the first SureFire flashlight powered by an included rechargeable AAA Eneloop NiMH battery or AAA alkaline (not included).

Simple counterclockwise twists of the head allow the user to activate the Titan-A and select one of its two operating modes – a maximum of 125 lumens (for 30 minutes) and a longer running 15 lumen level (2 hours). A proprietary faceted reflector is used to create a wide and evenly dispersed beam suited for close-range use.

Elzetta Sale on Amazon

Several months ago Amazon began carrying almost the entire line-up of Elzetta flashlights and accessories. Up until that point Elzetta lights were only available from third party sellers on the Amazon site. Recently they drastically lowered their prices on the original 235-lumen versions providing an excellent opportunity to pick up a high quality American made flashlight at a very affordable price. SureFire – Behind the Scenes

As I was preparing for an upcoming trip to San Diego, California I couldn’t help but notice that I would be a mere two hour drive from Fountain Valley, the birthplace of the many SureFire flashlights in my collection. As a certifiable flashlight nut (flashaholic) I just couldn’t pass up this opportunity without attempting to visit their facilities while on the West Coast. SureFire M300B and M600U – New Options and Price

SureFire has released two new variations of their popular M300B and M600U Scout Lights which are available without the usual remote tape switch. Equipped only with the Z68 click-type switch and designated as the M300B-Z68 and M600U-Z68, these new versions provide a sub-$300 alternative for those who prefer not to use a tape switch or who are looking to upgrade from a previous Scout Light and already have a compatible tape switch.

More Lumens! SureFire Announces Upgraded Lights

SureFire has officially announced several upgraded versions of their premium handheld and weapon mounted lights. First previewed at the 2014 SHOT Show®, these newly revised lights feature an upgraded emitter which boosts output from 25% to 60% over their predecessors.

According to the SureFire website, the newly upgraded lights will have the same Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) as the earlier versions. Street pricing will vary by retailer. (All images courtesy of SureFire, LLC)

SureFire Announces Lower Profile M600V and M620V

SureFire has announced the availability of a new LED head for their white-light/infrared M600V and M620V Scout Lights which is almost a quarter of an inch smaller in diameter than its predecessor. In addition to being smaller, the new head is also 1.5 ounces lighter resulting in nearly a 20% weight reduction for the M600V and almost 23% for the M620V.Continue reading→

New SureFire Y300 Ultra

The SureFire Y300 Ultra is a compact 500 lumen flashlight with an unconventional shape, thanks to the side-by-side arrangement of its two CR123 lithium primary batteries. Appearing like a pocketable version of the X300 WeaponLight, the Y300 offers several carry options with its included pocket clip, quick detach magnetic mount, and quick detach magnetic pocket clip. Help get Gene out of Jail and support MDA

If you’re familiar with the Muscular Dystrophy Association then you already know of their dedication to saving and improving lives of people fighting muscle disease. Perhaps you also know how they provide health care, advocacy and education for those who are in need. These good deeds require money and MDA relies heavily on donations from those who are able to help those that can’t.

As part of the fund raising activities each year numerous people volunteer to go to “jail” in support of this great cause in the hopes that their friends, co-workers, business associates and customers will raise enough bail money to set them free. Of course they won’t really stay in jail if the money isn’t raised but they often make up the difference out of their own pockets. Continue reading→

2014 Limited Edition Elzetta Bravo

For 2014 Elzetta is releasing a Limited Edition version of their popular Bravo flashlight with the high-output AVS head. Notable for its natural (gray) hard-anodized finish, the 2014 Limited Edition Bravo is equipped with a crenelated bezel ring and offers a choice between two tailcap and two lens options, providing four unique configurations.

The 2014 Limited Edition Bravo retailed for $215 and was available for purchase directly from Elzetta.

New SureFire E1D LED Defender
