SureFire C3 Centurion

The SureFire C3 Centurion is a longer, higher powered, version of the C2 Centurion featuring an ergonomically designed combat grip body, a belt/pocket clip and a Lock-Out Tail Cap.

The C3 Centurion comes standard with the P90 lamp assembly and wrist lanyard.  Due to its modular design, the C3 Centurion can be easily converted into a turbo-head or LED configuration and shares many accessories with other C, D, G, P, and Z-series lights.

Fact Sheet: SureFire C2 Centurion LED

SureFire C2 LED Centurion

The SureFire C2 Centurion LED was introduced in 2008 to provide a higher output, longer-running alternative to the incandescent C2 Centurion.  Equipped with the P60L LED lamp assembly, the C2 Centurion LED was originally rated at 80 lumens output and was upgraded in 2010 to 120 lumens.

The C2 LED Centurion followed the same modular design as other C-series lights  and maintained compatibility with all parts and accessories.

Fact Sheet: SureFire D3 Guardian / D3 Defender

SureFire D3 Defender

First introduced as a common sense evolution of the SureFire 9P, the D3 Guardian featured the same head and tail as the SureFire 9P along with a body designed with an integrated pocket clip.

Initially marketed under the product name of Guardian, the D3 was later joined the two-cell D2 as a part of the Defender line.  As a result, there are at least three variations in how D3 bodies were engraved – Guardian, D3 Defender, and D3.

Owing to its shared design with the P series SureFire lights, the D3 can can easily be configured into rechargeable or TurboHead versions.

At least three variations exist of the laser etching on the D2 Defender body.  In order of appearance these markings were Defender, D2 Defender, and D2.

Fact Sheet: SureFire 9P Original

SureFire 9P Original

The SureFire 9P Original was introduced as the successor to the 9P Classic and brought several refinements to the P-series lights including the addition of a lockout tail cap and anti-roll bezel.  The body was also redesigned with flat surfaces on either side providing space for the product name and brand to be laser etched into the surface.

Production of the 9P Original was discontinued in 2003 as part of a general updating of the SureFire model line.  However, production was resumed in 2005 due to customer demand.

The 9P Original retained the same basic dimensions as the earlier 9P Classic allowing the same parts and accessories to work with either version.
