The SureFire Z3 CombatLight, successor to the 9Z CombatLight, is a combat-ready version of the SureFire 9P. The body is necked down to enable shooting with a handgun utilizing the Rogers / Sure-Fire Technique and is designed for quick deployment from the V70 Holster.
The Z3 is equipped with the Z33 Lanyard System as a standard accessory and can use many of the same accessories as the P-series lights.
The SureFire Z2 LED CombatLight was introduced in 2008 to provide a higher output, longer-running alternative to the incandescent Z2 CombatLight. Equipped with the P60L LED lamp assembly, the Z2 LED CombatLight was originally rated at 80 lumens output and was upgraded in 2010 to 120 lumens.
The Z2 LED CombatLight followed the same modular design as other Z-series lights and maintained compatibility with all parts and accessories.

The SureFire 7Z CombatLight is a slightly longer version of the SureFire 6Z designed to operate with the B65 Ni-Cad battery stick or, with the use of an included battery spacer, two lithium primary batteries.
Regardless of battery choice the SureFire 7Z uses the R60 lamp assembly designed for slightly lower output than the P60 but designed to provide extended lamp life. The 7Z comes equipped with the Z33 Lanyard System as a standard accessory
